VIC FLICK
The name Vic Flick probably doesn't ring too many bells with the general public, at least not in North America, but he occupies a unique place in pop culture history. He was the guitarist on the orginal recording of the James Bond theme for the "Dr. No" soundtrack in 1962. His distinctive twang also appears in many of the subsequent Bond films.
You can read all about Flick's association with Bond composer John Barry as well as his other career highlights at his OFFICIAL WEBSITE.
You can also order some of Vic Flick's latest albums, including "James Bond Now," in which he updates some of the classic Bond themes and throws in a couple of ace originals that would fit nicely on an "007" soundtrack. There's also the soundtrack to "Wilson Chance," Flick's latest film score project.
As part of MR. KISS KISS BANG BANG!, which bills itself as "The Premier James Bond Web Site," there is an exclusive interview with Vic Flick, which you can access directly HERE. There are a couple of good photos of Flick's original "Bond" guitar as well.
