Forty years after Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Duane Eddy purchased his first Gretsch guitar in Phoenix, the Gretsch Duane Eddy 6120 electric guitars were issued. Two Duane Eddy models, in Ebony Burst and Gretsch Orange, were faithful reproductions of Duane's classic 1957 model 6120. Unfortunately, Gretsch no longer offers these models. However, you may be able to pick up one from a reputable dealer in used guitars should you be inclined to do your twanging on an authentic instrument.
